12-2-18 | Meeting Summary

The board meeting began with a recap of the social event. It was a successful event at Laser Quest, and those who went had a lot of fun. However, there was a low turnout with only 6 members total including only 2 board members. The board discussed why there was such a low turnout and possible ways to get more people in the future. The Community Service Chairs then provided an update for the upcoming social event at the Women’s Lunch Place. 4 people had RSVP'd yes for the February 9th date, and 0 people had said yes for the April 6th date. The board also discussed the continuing problem with google form responses. People continue to ignore the forms and not RSVP. There was a discussion about how crucial it is that group members, and particularly board members respond to all forms ASAP. The Curriculum Chairs also briefly explained the assertiveness vs. aggressiveness questions that would be used in the meeting. Overall, it was a productive board meeting and all positions gave updates.
